"There wasn't a single day in my life when you weren't there for me. You were always my wingman, always my best friend, ready to face everything and everyone," wrote Katie Colmenares on Instagram. She did not disclose the cause or circumstances surrounding her brother's death.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Gail started his acting career in the early 1990s. He appeared in series such as "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Kids, Troubles and Us," and "Murder, She Wrote." His big break came when he joined the cast of "Beverly Hills 90210", playing Brenda Walsh's fiance - a character played by Shannen Doherty.

Following this role, Gail had extended runs on series including "Savannah" and "Robbers & Robins". He also starred in over 200 episodes of "Port Charles", a "General Hospital" spin-off. In subsequent years, he appeared in productions like "V.I.P.," "JAG - Naval Criminal Investigative Service," and "ER."

As noted by the IMDB database, Gail had not been active professionally as an actor in recent years. In 2008, he starred in the horror film "The Belly of the Beast", after which he took a break from the screen. He returned in 2019, providing voice work for the computer game "Blacksad: Under the Skin", based on the popular comic series.
