Bentley's Royal Mulsanne, made for Queen Elizabeth II, preserved in the heritage collection
The special model made for Her Majesty, and the last representative of the Mulsanne line, is returning to its roots to augment the Bentley Heritage collection.
The Mulsanne, introduced in 2009, was manufactured for over a decade. The final model left the factory in Crewe in 2020, and it was a special edition created specifically for Queen Elizabeth II.
The Barnato Green paint, lustrous rims, and chrome details create a remarkable configuration. These are complemented by a cream interior with woolen carpets, walnut wood finishes, and unique royal emblems.
This car also stands out with its unique absence of an armrest, designed so the Queen could place her purse, and the addition of specialized equipment including police lights, sirens, and a notably loud horn.
Under the hood, however, there are no surprises. The 537-horsepower V8 engine surely added to the chauffeur and passengers' delight. It's unfortunate that the Queen didn't get to enjoy this marvelous vehicle.
The regal Mulsanne will now take its esteemed place in the remarkable 45-car Heritage collection. It will be the third Mulsanne in the portfolio, following the press version of Speed and the unit with VIN number 0002.
