The announcement from the Ministry of Defense of Belarus detailed the commencement of a combat readiness test across the nation's armed forces. Zierkało, an independent portal, referred to the defense ministry's statements in Minsk, highlighting that the evaluation will scrutinize individual formations and military units.

According to the ministry, the drill is “comprehensive in nature.” Soldiers are expected to move to designated areas and partake in drills and training exercises, including live firing sessions, as outlined in the ministry's declaration.

The Ministry of Defense in Belarus also highlighted that the transportation of military equipment might lead to temporary restrictions on civilian transport.

In recent times, particularly after the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Belarus has been the site of regular military exercises. A “comprehensive combat readiness test” was previously reported in October 2023.
