Beach hack: Using fitted sheets to keep sand away

During relaxation on the beach, the worst part is the sand that constantly sneaks into our clothes, food, and toys. However, there is a solution to this pesky problem - fitted sheets to the beach.

Most of us can't imagine a vacation without beach time. Spending time on the beach symbolizes summer laziness. Just prepare something to eat and drink, bring your favorite book or magazine, and lay on the hot sand.

What probably annoys everyone on the beach is the sand that passersby carelessly spills onto our towels or blankets. It quickly travels to our clothes, children's toys, or, worse, into our food. This is not only annoying but also unhygienic.

A fitted sheet on the beach is a great trick

But there is a solution for that, too. Swap the traditional beach towel for an ordinary fitted sheet. Although it seems strange—and many people will smile at this sight—it is a very effective and practical solution.

A fitted sheet helps keep the area free of sand. This way, you can maintain order in your belongings and avoid ants and insects invading your relaxing spot.

Stretch the sheet and place objects such as bags or shoes in the four corners to hold them down. This creates "walls" that protect your resting place from sandy intruders. Genius, right?
