Bayer Leverkusen's historic undefeated season earns WWE gift
This season, Bayer 04 Leverkusen was unbeatable on the domestic front. The team became the first to win the Bundesliga without a defeat. As a result, they received a gift from WWE's chief content officer, Triple H.

The 2023/24 season of the German Bundesliga was groundbreaking. Finally, Bayern Munich's hegemony, which had been unrivaled on the domestic front for the past 11 years, was broken. Bayer 04 Leverkusen's consistent performance led them to win the league competition.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich had a significantly worse campaign this year. Not only did they fail to defend their championship title, but they ultimately finished in 3rd place in the table.
This season, Bayer 04 Leverkusen dominated the Bundesliga. In 34 matches, the team did not record any defeats, with only six draws. VfB Stuttgart finished as the runner-up.
No other team had previously won the German league without a defeat, which made Bayer 04 Leverkusen's achievement historic. However, they did not maintain a clean sheet for the whole season, as they lost in the Europa League final to Atalanta Bergamo, 0-3.
Nonetheless, Triple H, WWE's chief content officer, honored their Bundesliga accomplishment. The well-known wrestler decided to send Bayer a special gift: a championship belt from the organization adorned with the club's crest on its side parts.
