Getting rid of panel bubbles

Bubbles that appear on panels aren't merely a cosmetic issue. They can lead to floor damage. Hence, it's important to act quickly if you notice any signs of bubbling.

It's crucial to understand how to handle especially laminated panels from the start. Cleaning them with an overly damp mop is strictly not advised. If bubbles have already surfaced, the method of ironing the bulged areas might help.

How to flatten bulging in panels?

The first and foremost step is to thoroughly dry the floor. Then place a cotton towel or cloth over the areas where bubbles have appeared. Natural-material products are highly recommended for this task. Meanwhile, preheat your iron to a medium setting. Once it reaches the desired temperature, apply it to the towel or cloth and gently iron over the panel bumps. Within a few minutes, the bubbles should start to disappear.

Didn't the ironing method work? Unfortunately, that isn't a good sign. It indicates the need to replace the panels because the damage is too severe. Reacting immediately to each bubble's emergence, even the smallest one, can help avoid such scenarios in the future.
