Baba Vanga, also known as Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, was famous for her clairvoyant abilities. Although she was blind, she could see into the future. Her predictions were so bold and detailed that she earned the nickname "Nostradamus of the Balkans."

Baba Vanga's predictions were never fully recorded. Transmitted orally over the years, her prophecies have been associated with many significant events. She was said to have foreseen the Chornobyl disaster, the death of Princess Diana, the events of September 11, and the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States.

According to Baba Vanga's visions for the coming years, the world is on the brink of collapse. Humanity's inevitable end and extinction will begin in 2025 – reports the portal "The Jerusalem Post."

According to many sources, Baba Vanga predicted that humanity would end in the year 5079. However, this would be the culmination of events that began as early as 2025.

This is the timeline that Baba Vanga is said to have foreseen:

  • 2025: A conflict in Europe will devastate the continent's population,
  • 2028: The problem of world hunger will disappear,
  • 2033: The polar ice caps will melt, causing a drastic rise in sea levels worldwide,
  • 2076: Communism will spread to countries around the world,
  • 2130: Humans will make contact with aliens,
  • 2170: A drought will destroy much of the world,
  • 3005: Earth will go to war with a civilization on Mars,
  • 3797: Humans will have to leave Earth because it has become uninhabitable,
  • 5079: The world will come to an end.

The figure of the "Nostradamus of the Balkans" remains very popular, especially in Eastern Europe. Her prophecies sound spectacular, and people believe she predicted many events in the 20th and early 21st centuries.

However, such prophecies should be approached with great caution. They should not be regarded as events that will definitively occur.
