Taylor Swift is currently one of the most popular and influential figures in the music industry. We often hear about her breaking streaming records and the massive success of her worldwide tour, "The Eras Tour." The American star has prepared a show lasting over three hours, during which she performs songs from her latest album and her nearly twenty-year career. Each week, the largest stadiums worldwide gather tens of thousands of fans to witness something extraordinary.

During her over three-hour concert, Taylor Swift performs 44 songs, which are easily accessible on platforms like Spotify. Anyone attending the show can check the setlist in advance. However, one short segment lasts just a few minutes during the performance. In this segment, Taylor Swift performs what she calls "surprise songs." It is one of the most anticipated moments of the show. During her sixth London concert, she chose a song that made fans hope she would announce "Reputation (Taylor's Version)."

Taylor Swift sang "I Did Something Bad." and what happened? Nothing

Remember, Taylor Swift is re-recording her albums because her former manager, Scooter Braun, sold her rights to her original recordings. She does this to ensure that everything she has written and performed belongs to her. Fans have already received "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," "Red (Taylor's Version)," "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," and "1989 (Taylor's Version)." The re-recordings of "Reputation" and her debut album are still pending. Fans are particularly eager for "Reputation."

Many fans theorized that if Taylor Swift performed "I Did Something Bad" during the acoustic segment, it would indicate that she would soon announce "Reputation (Taylor's Version)." This belief stemmed from the iconic live performances of the song during the original "Reputation" tour, where it sounded uniquely different from its studio version. Many consider these live renditions some of Taylor Swift's best performances.

"I Did Something Bad" was the last song from "Reputation" that Taylor hadn't performed during "The Eras Tour." This fueled fans' belief in the conspiracy theory. On August 17, Taylor grabbed her guitar and mentioned she was excited to sing a song she hadn't performed in a long time. When the audience at Wembley realized what was coming, they went wild. They started recording, hoping to catch an announcement for the "Reputation (Taylor's Version) release date." However, their surprise was immense when, after finishing the song, she simply put down the guitar and walked over to the piano.

Currently, most fans believe that the announcement of the re-recorded "Reputation" will happen at her last concert in London on Tuesday, August 20. Whether this theory will come true remains to be seen. For now, all we can do is simply wait, which is, undoubtedly, not easy.
