Australian FMX star Jayden Archer, known for first triple backflip in competition, tragically dies in training
Jayden Archer was a shining star among Australian motorcyclists. Notably, he was the first person to successfully perform a triple backflip in mid-air during an official competition. This was achieved in November 2022 during the Best Trick event at the Nitro World Games in Brisbane, Australia.

"I can't articulate this feeling. This means so much more to me than just an average trick. I've dedicated my entire life to this sport; the past three years have been filled with continuous training" - Archer stated shortly after landing his groundbreaking trick.
The death of Jayden Archer
As per reports obtained by "Sky News" journalists, Archer suffered fatal injuries while practicing his signature trick, the triple backflip. Archer had been associated with the Nitro Circus brand for a decade. The organization shared the tragic news with fans on their Instagram platform.
"Jayo embodied passion, perseverance, and determination. (...) He not only had a strong, positive influence on others but was first and foremost a wonderful person and a friend to all of us" - the statement read.
Throughout his career, Jayden earned two X Games medals. He had recently been working towards performing a quadruple backflip in mid-air. In a more personal light, he had plans to get married this year.
