"Aurora shimmer nails" is the latest hit of 2025. This manicure has become a strong competitor to the recently popular "cat eye" effect and other nail powders. Fans of sparkle will adore this effect. Just look at that sheen.

"Aurora shimmer nails", the hit of this year

"Aurora shimmer nails" is an exceptionally impressive style that stands out with its three-dimensional depth and shimmering particles. While it sounds similar to the famous cat eye effect, it differs with its silver-blue glow that resembles a galaxy full of stars.

Such a manicure can complement any style, thanks to the shimmering sheen that looks different each time you move your hand. Thousands of tiny sparkles create unique shapes, depending on their arrangement. To achieve this effect, like with "cat eye," you need a magnet and special polish.

"Aurora shimmer nails" - how to do them?

You can easily create this manicure at home. All you need is some professional equipment to get started. The first step is preparing the nails. Begin by smoothing the surface and removing the cuticles. Then, shape your nails as desired and apply a cleaner. Now it's time for a clear base, which you should cure under a UV lamp.

Once this stage is complete, apply the magnetic polish with the "aurora" effect. Before curing it under the lamp, place the magnet at the center of the nail and then slide it to the side. Be careful not to touch the nail surface with the magnet, and keep it about 1/8 - 1/6 inch above. Secure everything with a top coat and set it. For a finishing touch, optionally apply oil around the cuticles, and you're done.
