But that’s not the end of my good news for you. After all, asparagus can also work as an interesting warm snack. Moreover, to achieve spectacular success, you don’t need any fancy additives. Combine asparagus with zucchini and an express marinade based on French mustard, then put it in a preheated oven. In no time, you’ll have a real feast for your taste buds on your table.

Ingredients:

  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 8 green asparagus spears
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of French mustard
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon

Preparation:

Step 1. Start by preparing the zucchini. Wash and dry the vegetable, then cut it into thin slices using a mandoline slicer.

Step 2. Next, sprinkle the prepared slices with salt and set them aside for 10 minutes. After that, press each piece with a paper towel to remove the excess water that has accumulated.

Step 3. Take the prepared zucchini slices and wrap them around green asparagus spears.

Step 4. Prepare the express marinade. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, peeled and pressed garlic cloves, finely chopped parsley, French mustard, and lemon juice.

Step 5. Place the asparagus wrapped in zucchini into a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Using a kitchen brush, spread the mustard-based mixture on top. Then the snack is ready to go into the preheated oven for 10 minutes at 392 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 6. Garnish the warm snack with fresh arugula. And that's it, enjoy!
