Armed youths barricade in Hamburg school: Police conducting emergency evacuation
An ongoing police evacuation operation is actively rescuing students from a school in Hamburg. Earlier, two armed youths entered the building and threatened a teacher with a weapon.

On the fenced school grounds, special units are currently at the scene with additional forces arriving from all over Hamburg on an emergency basis. There is a rapid, organized evacuation of students from the school area.
This is a response to an attack instigated by these two unidentified young men on one of the teachers on the morning of Wednesday, November 8. The perpetrators are armed and have barricaded themselves in one of the classrooms, with one allegedly threatening to kill a teacher.
The police have reported on portal X the evacuation of students to a secure location. Students have been relocated to the barracks at Osdorfer Landstrasse 365 where parents can reunite with their children.
Tactical forces were deployed at the scene shortly before 11:00 a.m., according to a spokesperson from the local police, speaking with t-online. The spokesperson also stated that no further details can be revealed at this time.
Bild, a German newspaper, reports that officers are currently searching the building, focusing on the last known location of the armed individuals. Witnesses say at least one of them is armed.
At this point, it's unclear whether these intruders are students of the school or outsiders. In the meantime, authorities are urging people via social media to avoid the area surrounding the school. Roads have been blocked and helicopters are patrolling overhead.
