Enzo Fernandez was live-streaming when viewers heard the chant. It was about the African origins of some French national team players, including Kylian Mbappe.
Following this incident, Wesley Fofana, Fernandez’s Chelsea FC clubmate, emphasized that racism is rampant. Fernandez officially apologized for the entire situation and assured that the song did not reflect his views.
