Anya Taylor-Joy stuns in daring crochet and sheer at the Dior show

Since 2021, she has been a global ambassador for the Dior brand. As such, she couldn't miss the show during Paris Fashion Week. Anya Taylor-Joy is a quiet storm who likes to provoke. She presented herself in a crochet top and a sheer skirt this time.

Fashion Week is currently underway in Paris. The presentation of the Spring-Summer 2025 collection has already been completed by, among others, the Dior fashion house. From the front row, the brand's global ambassadors – Natalie Portman and Anya Taylor-Joy – watched it.

While the former opted for a massive look with a corset and motorcycle boots, the latter chose lightness with a touch of sensuality. The young actress once seemed quiet and modest. Now we know she has enormous potential for serving up sophisticated fashion craziness.

Sheer doesn't have to be provocative. Vulgarity is not inherent to it. It can take a maximally subtle form. Just look at Anya Taylor-Joy, who masterfully decided to interpret the loudest trend of recent seasons during the Dior SS25 show.

The star of the film "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" opted for a cream-colored outfit consisting of an ornate crochet top with straps and a sheer maxi skirt. The flared model at the bottom exposed covered panties in a neutral color. It came out decidedly more idyllic than a boudoir.

In a paradoxical way to break this full-of-lightness and charm styling, Anya Taylor-Joy paired it with massive black leather boots, which brilliantly corresponded with her intense eye makeup. At first glance, it is clear that this is not a mix of styles and a fashion misstep but a trick applied with full intent.
