In 2021, the tourist numbers lowered due to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, tourism is witnessing a revival in the country, with Turkey expecting to host up to 6 million tourists in Antalya this season.

Which Nationalities Visit Antalya the Most?

Data from the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism revealed that, from January to April, nearly 447,000 Germans were the most frequent visitors to Antalya. Russians formed the second-largest tourist group, 393,000, followed by 202,000 Brits. Antalya is also popular amongst Poland, Israel, Lithuania, Iran, Belgium, and Kazakhstan tourists.

Traveling to Antalya and sorting out independent accommodations is also a feasible option. However, meticulous planning in advance for such a trip is vital. A flight from Krakow to Antalya could cost around $210, although bear in mind that flight costs increase as tickets are booked later. As for lodgings, rooms somewhat away from the city can be found for as little as $20 per day.
