Angelina Jolie reveals personal struggles amidst film promotion
Angelina Jolie is promoting her latest film, "Maria," in which she portrays opera diva Maria Callas. In a recent interview, she opened up about her relationships with other people. Of course, she didn't miss the chance to jab at her ex-husband, with whom she has been battling in court for nearly ten years.

Angelina Jolie doesn't have a large circle of close friends. She confessed this during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the ongoing Venice festival. "Maybe it's because I lost a parent at a young age, maybe because of work. Maybe because I've been betrayed many times," she admitted. It's hard not to associate these words with her ongoing conflict with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. They are fighting over children and property, and the actress accuses him of violence and alcohol problems.
"I was very close to my mom, but she passed away. I had a few friends who didn't have time for my family when we needed their help. Today, I have only a couple of people I trust," said the Hollywood star.
Angelina Jolie can't leave Los Angeles
Despite challenging experiences, Jolie values spending time with loved ones and finding joy in simple things like watching TV together or ordering Thai food. The actress eagerly anticipates when her youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, reach adulthood. She then plans to leave Los Angeles, a city that has been her home due to legal regulations. The divorce agreement with Brad Pitt included a clause that their children must remain in Los Angeles until they are of age. Jolie doesn't hide that she desires more privacy and peace for her family, far from urban life.
What are her plans? In the interview, she revealed that she plans to travel around the world (she especially loves Cambodia, where her son Maddox was born).
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt was also present at the Venice festival, but the organizers went to great lengths to ensure the two did not have to meet. Their film premieres were held several days apart. Brad Pitt promoted his "Lone Wolves" with a new girlfriend by his side.
