On Wednesday, August 21, we received information from Romania that Andrew Tate and his brother were once again arrested. The police searched their house and determined that their detention was necessary. Both deny committing any crimes.

Andrew Tate is one of the most controversial internet personalities. He became notorious for spreading misinformation, insulting women and minorities, and mocking them. On social media, he hosted a podcast where he often discussed topics that were likely fabricated, as there was never any evidence to support his claims. In December 2022, he and his brother were charged with rape and human trafficking. Now, additional charges have been added.

Former kickboxer Andrew Tate gained popularity on social media for his controversial statements. He often joked about hitting women and blamed victims rather than perpetrators for rapes. He regularly stated that women should belong to men, particularly their bodies. He insulted women who were not slim and dictated how a real man should behave. Clearly, following his advice can lead to getting arrested.

Andrew Tate arrested again

The first time Andrew Tate and his brother were detained was in December 2022. They were charged with rape and human trafficking but were released and placed under house arrest in 2023. On Wednesday, August 21, news broke that the police had once again entered the former influencer's home and found evidence that led to Andrew Tate and his brother being arrested once again.

It is not exactly confirmed what additional charges the Tate brothers might face. Unofficially, it is said that the charges involve sleeping with minors and trafficking them. Additionally, the men are alleged to be involved in money laundering. There are also claims of witness tampering, as they allegedly tried to ensure that no one testified against them. The Tate brothers were detained for 24 hours.
