An interesting minivan made by Toyota. It looks like a toy, but is fancy as hell

It might look funny, but it shows how electromobility will look like in a few, maybe several years. A small minivan called Kayoibako looks more like a gadget than a car, but it has plenty of benefits.

Toyota will unveil on October 26 at the Japan Mobility Show, a concept model Kayoibako, which is a prototype of a compact minivan with electric drive, reflecting the vision of future transportation. Transportation, because such a car is primarily supposed to carry people like a bus, not to be a family car. Although it can be that too.

Primarily, carsharing, ridesharing, and transport companies will benefit from it. It can be included, among others, in intelligent short-distance goods distribution systems as a fleet vehicle. It can also be one of the vehicles for the local community, who may not own their own cars. In designing the interior, its flexibility was important, as well as accommodation for the disabled.

The Kayoibako is 157 inches long, 70 inches wide, and 73 inches tall, the wheelbase is 110 inches. However, the interior is truly impressive, with 123 inches of length on the passenger side and 84 inches on the driver's side. The interior width is 58 inches, and the interior height is 57 inches.
