Amid deadly Israel-Palestine conflict, PM Netanyahu's son leads a carefree life in Florida
Israel and Palestine are currently mired in a devastating conflict. Hamas and the government of Benjamin Netanyahu are engaged in severe clashes, resulting in high civilian casualties on both sides.
However, not everyone is preoccupied with the nation's dire circumstances. Yair Netanyahu, the Prime Minister's son, often called "Prince Harry" by the Israeli media, is leading a carefree life in Florida, USA.
Revealed by the Daily Mail journalists, the 32-year-old spends his days relaxing on the beach and in an upscale apartment. The monthly rent for such a place amounts to 5000 dollars.
Why isn't the Prime Minister's Son Serving on the Front Line?
An unprecedented number of reservists are currently engaged in the battle against Hamas. Nevertheless, the 32-year-old isn't one of them, despite being reported by the Daily Mail as "wandering around the exclusive complex in Florida."
In addition to the ethical problem of Netanyahu's son's departure, there is also a law enforcement question. He could have continued serving in the Israeli army and assisting his fellow citizens on the front line until he was 40.
It appears that the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would rather relax and enjoy leisure activities than provide support to his fellow Israelis. While his compatriots suffer, he enjoys drinks and spends time with friends.
This is not the first time that the unconventional behavior of Netanyahu's son has generated controversy. He was previously spotted in Miami in October of last year. He did not heed the call to serve in the Israeli army reserve then.
