This surprising discovery occurred in Sterling Heights, where an alligator appeared under a woman's car.

Everybody’s like 'there’s an alligator under your car!' And I’m like 'are you serious?' And then I look and here we go — he’s laying down under my car, said Marysoul Mousa-Aqrawi in an interview with local media.

The woman called the police, and officers arrived at the scene along with employees from the Reptarium zoo in Utica. They captured the alligator and transported it to their facility.

USA. Police have no doubt about the alligator

The officers are convinced that the alligator was illegally kept as a pet. It most likely escaped or was released by its owner.

The Sterling Heights Police Department would like to remind the public that as it may seem to be cool to own an exotic animal such as an alligator, its still very dangerous. Furthermore, against city ordinance to possess one, stated the police in a declaration published by "The Detroit News".

Keeping dangerous exotic animals at home in Sterling Heights is an offense and can result in a fine of up to $500.
