American actress Alicia Silverstone recently experienced firsthand the dangers of walking alone on the streets of London. When she stumbled upon a bush with strangely looking fruits, she couldn't resist the temptation to try one.

Alicia Silverstone gained widespread popularity for her lead role in the iconic romantic comedy "Clueless." She played the clever Cher Horowitz, who tries to match her unsupportive teacher with a lonely colleague in her quest for the perfect GPA. Silverstone has also appeared in films and TV series such as "Batman & Robin," "The Lodge," "American Horror Story," and "The Killing of a Sacred Deer."

The actress recently posted a peculiar video on TikTok. While strolling alone on the streets of London, her attention was drawn to a bush with brightly colored fruits growing on someone's property. Alicia Silverstone casually picked one of the "treats" and tasted it. Not only is it unwise to consume unknown food, but the actress also committed theft.

The actress ate a poisonous fruit and has not appeared online since

"I’ve discovered something that I can’t figure out what it is and I need your help," says Alicia Silverstone, showing a small, intensely orange fruit to the camera. "I just bit into it because it was on the street and we were discussing whether this was a tomato or not," she adds, zooming in on the plant in someone's garden. "Those are the leaves. So what the heck is this? Because when you open it up, it looks like that?" she asks, chewing the fruit, which was later identified as bittersweet nightshade - a poisonous plant that can cause stomach disorders.

Fans are very concerned about the actress's condition. They are worried because Alicia Silverstone has not shown any signs of life on social media since the video of her eating an unknown plant from a stranger's garden. Internet users are comforting each other, saying she likely couldn’t have suffered severe harm from a small bite. The actress is alive; on Tuesday, August 20th, she informed everyone that she was fine. "No worries, I didn't swallow," she wrote in a post on Instagram.
