"I just bit into it because it was on the street and we were discussing whether this was a tomato or not," she adds, zooming in on the plant in someone's garden. "Those are the leaves. So what the heck is this? Because when you open it up, it looks like that?" she asks, chewing the fruit, which was later identified as bittersweet nightshade - a poisonous plant that can cause stomach disorders.

They are worried because Alicia Silverstone has not shown any signs of life on social media since the video of her eating an unknown plant from a stranger's garden. Internet users are comforting each other, saying she likely couldn’t have suffered severe harm from a small bite.
