Alfa Romeo Castagna Vittoria. A unique car is now available at auction
Regarded by many as the ugliest Alfa Romeo ever made, the Castagna Vittoria holds a special appeal for those who collect unconventional vehicles. The Castagna Vittoria project stands out as a distinctive car developed from a rather run-of-the-mill model.

The Alfa Romeo 75, one of the most traditional designs in the brand's history, was paradoxically chosen as the base for this daring creation.
The Italian bodywork company, Carrozzeria Castagna, conceived the radical transformation of the 75 model. In 1994, they resolved to create something extraordinary for the forthcoming Geneva auto show.
And thus, the Alfa Romeo Castagna Vittoria was born. The SZ model served as stylistic inspiration. However, one might say that the designers allowed their imagination to run wild. The hand-embossed aluminum panel bodywork seems more reminiscent of enthusiast-level automotive modification than the output of a prominent bodywork company.
Fortunately, the car's interior surpasses its exterior, though its green velvet and wood combo may not suit everyone's tastes. A noteworthy feature is the three-litre V6 engine nestled under the hood. Offering 255 horsepower to the rear wheels, and complemented by a modified suspension and braking system, it ensures the driver's safety.
A selling point of this car is its remarkably low mileage, a mere 1553 miles. Prospective buyers can participate in the Car and Classic auction. The expected final bidding price is around 125 thousand pounds, which is approximately 150 thousand dollars.
