The funeral ceremony for Alexei Navalny was brief, attended by the oppositionist's colleagues, legal representatives, and parents.

Journalists from the SOTA channel report that groups of 2-4 people were allowed into the church at a time. They noted, "The coffin lid is placed at the entrance to the church."

A photo of the coffin containing Navalny's body has been shared by his associates.

The service, lasting only a few minutes, concluded with Navalny's coffin being transported to a nearby cemetery. Throughout the ceremony, the crowd outside the church voiced chants of "Navalny," "Do not give up," and "We will not forget."

An online video also captures the poignant moment of Navalny's mother, Ludmila Navalnaya, bidding farewell to her son.

As the coffin was carried out of the church, shouts from the crowd were also heard.

Those amassed in front of the church are paying their respects to Alexei Navalny with chants of "Love is stronger than fear" and "No to war."

Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, remarked, "The Kremlin cannot assess Navalny as a political figure. Those who participate in unauthorized rallies on the day of Navalny's funeral will face legal consequences," emphasizing the government's stance.
