The new study, which has been released in the 'Nature Computational Science' journal, demonstrates the potential of finely tuned artificial intelligence. Scientists from Technical University in Denmark and Northwestern University in Boston utilized artificial intelligence models to "analyze the evolution and predictability of human life".

Artificial intelligence may predict the future

The scientists used the Life2vec model for this study, feeding it data collected between 2008 and 2020 on six million Danish citizens. The data included several factors: education, residence, income, employment, and health. The analysis results highlighted an extraordinary ability of AI to predict future events with high precision.

As reported by Earth.com, these studies authenticate the possibility that transformer models, currently used primarily for written language analysis, like ChatGPT, can be trained with extensive human life databases to anticipate probable future events. These models can even predict death with striking accuracy.

According to the researchers involved in the study, using artificial intelligence in this way holds great promise for the future, including the early prediction of social and health problems. However, it's critical that the technology is managed by appropriate people and organizations. The use of AI also raises some profound ethical questions. As reported by Neuroscience News, these dilemmas primarily concern data privacy, bias, and the broader implications of using artificial intelligence to forecast personal life events.
