Adele Springsteen, mother of Bruce Springsteen, passes away at 98
Mother of Bruce Springsteen who celebrated her 98th birthday in May, died on Wednesday. She struggled with Alzheimer's disease for 10 years.

For decades, Adele frequently attended her son's performances, where he regularly invited her to join him on stage for a dance. The last time she performed on stage with her son was in 2016 during a concert at Madison Square Garden. She was already 90 years old.
- My mother loves to dance. She grew up in the ‘40s… [with] the big bands and the swing bands, and that was when dancing was an existential act - he said during a 2021 Springsteen on Broadway performance, according to the TODAY show.
Bruce paid tribute to his beloved mother, quoting in the description the lyrics of his song The Wish, which, with the release, was dedicated to her.
