Many people choose scrambled eggs for breakfast every morning, often accompanied by sandwiches or vegetables. Although it is already a healthy option, adding a pinch of one specific product can make it even more nutritious. What are we talking about? Turmeric, which is a powerful antioxidant.

Add turmeric to scrambled eggs

A few years ago, it was mistakenly believed that frequent consumption of scrambled eggs had a negative impact on cholesterol. The World Health Organization debunked this myth. According to WHO, a healthy person can consume up to 12 weekly eggs.

Scrambled eggs are a great breakfast option. Fried in a small amount of butter and seasoned with salt, pepper, and your favorite additions, they're not only healthy but also filling. If we want them to benefit our bodies even more, let's add a pinch of turmeric, also known as long turmeric or Indian saffron. Available in root form (similar to ginger) and as a powder, it is affordable.

Turmeric is a health bomb

Unfortunately, not everyone is aware of turmeric's numerous health benefits. First, it is one of the most potent antioxidants, with strong anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and anticancer properties. Regular consumption can help reduce high cholesterol levels and protect the digestive system.

Where can we add turmeric? In addition to scrambled eggs, it works well in soups, stews, curries, smoothies, and teas, especially when combined with lemon, honey, and cloves.

Important! Turmeric can affect the action of some medications. Before starting to consume it regularly, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
