Actor Nick Pasqual has been accused of attempting to murder his ex-partner. Allie Shehorn was stabbed 20 times. The police have already arrested the suspect. A few days before the incident, Shehorn had filed for a restraining order.

On May 23, in the early morning in Los Angeles' Sunland neighborhood, a tragedy occurred. Hollywood star makeup artist Allie Shehorn was attacked in her home; allegedly, the perpetrator stabbed her 20 times, injuring her in the neck, arms, and abdomen. The assailant fled the scene, and Shehorn was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where she underwent numerous surgeries that saved her life.

The main suspect is Shehorn's former partner, actor Nick Pasqual, who had previously committed acts of violence against her. During one of the attacks, Shehorn suffered a concussion. A few days before the assault, the makeup artist filed for a restraining order against Pasqual.

According to the "New York Post," on May 29, the actor was detained by police in Sierra Blanca on the US-Mexico border. Pasqual is expected to face charges including attempted murder, causing injuries, and burglary. His extradition to Los Angeles County is imminent. He could face life imprisonment.

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón stated that the victim has been provided with all necessary support and that the perpetrator will be held accountable.

"My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the victim of this horrific incident. Our Victim Assistance Bureau is providing Shehorn with the support and resources needed for her recovery, both physical and emotional, from the injuries inflicted upon her. This disgraceful incident is a brutal reminder of the dangers associated with domestic violence. We assure that the person responsible for this egregious act will be held accountable," the press statement reads.
