Acclaimed director Jeff Baena dies at 47 in Los Angeles
Jeff Baena, a well-known American director and screenwriter, and Aubrey Plaza's husband passed away at the age of 47. According to News Sky, Baena was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday morning.
Baena gained fame as the creator of films such as "Life After Beth" and "The Little Hours," in which his wife starred. The couple married in 2021 and had been together for nearly 14 years.
According to TMZ, one of the officers reported that the director's body was discovered by his assistant at the home in Los Angeles on Saturday after 10 AM ET. Baena's death was confirmed at the scene. Police informed the service that the cause of death was suicide.
His death is, of course, a significant blow to the family, who is currently not providing information and is asking for privacy during this difficult time.

Baena was born in Miami, graduated from film school in New York, and moved to Los Angeles. He has a dozen films to his credit.
Aubrey Plaza gained recognition from the Parks and Recreation series. She has since acted in many films and series, including White Lotus and Megalopolis.
