A terrifying scream. The neighbors couldn't stand it. They called the Police

Director Kevin Greutert was certainly surprised when he saw police officers at the doorstep of his office. The reason for their visit caused even greater astonishment. The law enforcement officers were called by neighbors who were afraid that someone was being tortured in their immediate surroundings.

"Neighbors were calling and saying that someone here was being tortured to death," Kevin Greutert heard from the police officers, who bluntly informed him of the reason for their unexpected visit. The director was surprised for a moment, but soon realized what was going on. He was working with a film editor on the sound track for the horror movie "Saw X".

"Saw" is considered the most macabre horror series in recent years. The first part of "Saw" from 2004 was an independent production, which won the hearts of the audience at the Sundance Festival during late night screenings in the "Park City at Midnight" section. Later, however, the series became a money-making machine, to be listed in the "Guinness World Records" as the most macabre franchise in cinema history.

The markers of gruesomeness could have been liters of spilled red paint or viewers who felt faint during the screening due to disgust or left the hall. Because of the increasingly brutal scenes, journalists began to criticize the film's creators, calling for moderation and restraint in showing elaborate scenes of mutilation and murder. As you can see, to no avail.

In an interview with NME.com, Kevin Greutert said that officers showed up at his office when the editor was working on a particularly gruesome scene featuring an "eye vacuum". The character in the scene must escape the trap at the right moment in order not to lose his sight. In this part of the movie, a very loud, terrifying scream can be heard which apparently alarmed the neighbors.

It may be hard to believe, but "Saw X", which premiered in theaters last weekend, is receiving very good reviews (on Rotten Tomatoes as much as 85 percent positive critical reviews and over 90 percent audience approval). Many people who had the courage to watch the movie in the theater claim it is the best, perhaps alongside the first one, part of the series.
