Are sheets of rice paper gathering dust in your kitchen cabinet, which you picked up during one of those themed weeks at the supermarket? It's time to combine Asian cuisine with French and turn rice paper into crispy croissants. This sweet dessert is easy for everyone to master, and there will definitely be no shortage of fans for such a treat.

Rice paper is mainly associated with spring rolls and summer rolls, but it can also be used to prepare a delicious dessert. Although it sounds improbable because croissants are usually associated with puff pastry, it really works.

Rice paper croissants

This trend is taking over international TikTok accounts, so we had to try it out in the Pyszności kitchen as well. Although the idea might seem a bit strange, the recipe for rice paper croissants has won the hearts of many internet users and has made a sensation among us too.

They are perfect for busy people who don’t have the time for complicated baking. Although the recipe for rice paper croissants is simple and quick, it’s worth remembering that the taste of such a croissant will significantly differ from the traditional one. Rice paper gives the dish a slightly different texture and taste. If you like to experiment in the kitchen and are looking for new culinary experiences, this rice paper croissant recipe will appeal to you.
