TikToker emmezhou, a student at Trumbull College, one of the fourteen colleges under Yale University's banner, took to social media to reveal the choices in the university's dining hall.
On her plate, an eggplant sandwich, potatoes, asparagus, Caesar salad, marinated feta and honey-glazed carrots, all eagerly await.
"The sandwich was not toasted, yet it surpassed my expectations," admitted emmezhou.
Alongside her, was boyfriend Maxwell, who, surprisingly, opted for a cheeseburger nestled in a brioche bun. Maxwell's meal turned out to be juicier than Emme's choice.
Next up was the marinated feta, which proved to be quite salty. However, the potatoes were delightfully crispy yet tender. For dessert, the student chose lemon oat cookies.
"I would rate the food a 4+. Depending on your viewpoint, that can either be excellent or poor," the TikToker summarised.
A glimpse of university life through the cafeteria
Emmezhou's profile is a food lover's paradise. A significant portion features reviews from university dining halls, of which there are 14, correlating with the number of colleges within Yale University.
Indeed, her posts are enough to make anyone's hungry.
"I'd do anything to dine at Yale!" exclaimed one follower.
"I'd happily land a job at the university canteen," opined another.
"I would head there to study, purely for the food options," added yet another.
So, does Yale's cafeteria food make you drool in anticipation?
