A plane nearly collides with a mysterious object, fueling UFO speculations
A puzzling incident in the skies over Great Britain continues to baffle many. It has been reported that a Ryanair plane narrowly escaped a collision with an unidentified black object shortly after departure from Stansted Airport. The objects came dangerously close to each other, with a mere distance of 66 feet between them. This is the latest incident in a series of similar occurrences in the Essex area over the past five years.
Although the incident is not recent, only now are the details surfacing. The facts were uncovered following a demand for public information disclosure. Interestingly, the inquiry also delved into the number of reported UFO sightings over the past five years.
The Unidentified Black Object
While in ascent after takeoff from Stansted airport, at an altitude of 4000 feet an unidentified black object crossed the plane's path. According to Essex police, the plane was a mere 66 feet from the object.
The pilot noticed an object described as "black", which crossed the plane's path at a distance less than 66 feet - reported the Essex police.
At that moment, the Ryanair plane was traveling at a speed of 230 mph with the unidentified object moving from north to south.
The police haven't ruled out that the object could be a drone. However, the software monitoring flying equipment at Stansted Airport at the time didn't detect any such object.
Is There a UFO Over Essex?
Besides this incident, the police have recorded three more occurrences over Essex.
A source in the control tower at Essex Airport reported some of these incidents. According to the source, two planes spotted an object at an altitude of 500 feet while they were making their final approach to Runway 22.
The observer's report, included in the law enforcement document, described an unidentified flying object sighting: "The object was oval-shaped and metallic in color, with no discernible markings or lights. It didn't resemble a conventional aircraft. The object moved from east to west, just south of my location, in a straight line, maintaining an altitude of about 100 feet consistently, as far as I could tell. The object moved swiftly across the sky, smoothly, without any changes in altitude or direction, unaffected by the weather."
Such reports have prompted rampant speculations in British media about UFOs.
