A man lies back as an AI self-driving car lets him enjoy Euro 2024 match

Artificial intelligence is developing at an increasingly rapid pace. This is evident in AI advancements and autonomous cars that no longer require a human driver. A short video from China exemplifies this, showing a man lying on the seat while his car drives itself and he watches the Euro 2024 match.

Over the past few years, technological development has accelerated significantly, leading some major American brands to call for a halt in AI development. In just the past year, artificial intelligence has undergone a massive transformation, becoming ubiquitous and integral to nearly every creative industry.

This advancement, including AI, has greatly improved many commonly used tools, such as phones and televisions. The changes have also significantly impacted the automotive industry.

Numerous videos demonstrate how people in modern cars, supported by autopilots, can almost completely stop driving. Some individuals are so confident in the technology that they engage in other activities instead of looking at the road.

This is surprising because, although the concept of autopilot, for example, in airplanes, has been known for years, it has never been so autonomous. Meanwhile, as numerous online videos show, it performs flawlessly even on roads where the autopilot faces more dangers than in the air.

One resident of China decided to showcase this by driving an autonomous car on a local road. What stood out was that he was lying on the seat while the car was moving and watching one of the ongoing Euro 2024 matches.

Commenters on the video note that the car is moving through an empty tunnel, making the autopilot's task particularly easy. Nonetheless, it is still incredible how autonomous the AI-driven car is.
