A gift from Putin. Is this the beginning of a new amorous totalitarian flowery cooperation?
Is this elegant treasure going to enter the realm of Kim Jong Un's emotional life? He seemed to be amused and a little flushed. The pair has definitely some common interests and subjects to discuss. Do they match each other?
It is well known that totalitarian regimes like to cooperate, but this time Vladimir Putin went a step further. He made a lovely gift to his fellow dictator. He presented him with a car. The gift is much more valuable in the world of dictatorship since it is very hard to import cars from the main exporters like the European Union, the United States or Japan. Putin decided to share his own domestic technology with the North Korean ruler and gifted him an Aurus, a special Russian brand of cars formed in 2018 in order to produce governmental service vehicles.
Kim Jong Un infatuated ?
Such a car is really an impressive gift for someone like Kim, who is also well known to be incredibly impressed with Donald Trump's governmental Cadillac. The relationship is entering new tides under the shadow of Xi Jinping, whose position in the totalitarian matrimonial market is much higher than those of Putin and Kim, as he is well-known polyamorist in the world of mass murderers.
Serious concerns
The United States intelligence reports some worrisome diagnoses on relationships between Russia and North Korea. Putin's gift symbolises strengthening the ties between the two regimes. Time is going to show how this is going to unfold. Russia is trying desperately to loosen the isolation and save their economy, which is very much devastated by the Western sanctions. They try to work together with the regimes in Iran, China and now North Korea. China is reported to be gaining much on the position of Russia since they are able to import oil and gas with much more profitable conditions. The status of Taiwan is also much more couragely contested by China's dictatorship, which declared that it is going to be regained by the year 2050. The war on Ukraine is nearing its second anniversary, and it does not seem to end anytime soon. The geopolitical situation has not been so tense since the end of the Cold War.
