A$AP Rocky accused of shooting a former colleague, video evidence presented in court
Renowned rapper A$AP Rocky stands accused of shooting a former friend, identified as Relli. This case has been protracted due to numerous inconsistencies in the victim's testimony. A new turn emerged with the introduction of a video recording into evidence.
The conflict between A$AP Rocky and Relli reportedly ensued in 2021. A$AP Rocky was arrested on suspicion of shooting Relli during this dispute. Within a year, Relli sued A$AP Rocky, claiming he was fired without provocation. A$AP Rocky's attorney, representing singer Rihanna, has consistently sought his client's acquittal. Despite these efforts, the case is yet to be resolved.
The latest court hearing, held in Los Angeles, featured the presentation of a video recording. The prosecution argues that this footage captures A$AP Rocky wielding a weapon during his altercation with Relli. Detective Frank Flores explained that the police only obtained this video during their investigation. Still, images from the video were also presented in court to substantiate the evidence.

In addition to the first video, the prosecutor played another recording where two gunshots can be heard, but the shooter is not visible. Relli insists that it was Rocky who shot him in the hand. The court also viewed a video from police cameras documenting the arrival and investigation of at least seven officers at the shooting scene. Significantly, the offending weapon was never recovered.
During his testimony, Relli claimed that A$AP Rocky brandished a gun at his stomach and threatened: "I'll kill you now." He previously stated that Rihanna's partner fired four shots, but only after the men had begun to scatter. Contradictingly, the officers found no shell casings at the scene. Relli contends that he picked up these casings and handed them to the police. However, no fingerprints were discovered on the provided shells.
