Where is the boundary of admiration for a particular brand? I suspect that the owner of the described collection does not know such a concept. In his life, he has acquired a total of 56 Porsches from various years of production, in different versions and models. They are all united by one common element - white paint.
We will find it on absolutely every copy, starting from the ordinary 914, through a few pieces of the 356, and ending with the extremely rare 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 from 1993 in the Strassenversion edition. The German manufacturer created only two such cars.
Among the less impressive representatives of the collection, we find such proposals as the 924, 944, 928, and even two Porsche tractors. At the other end of the performance scale is the 918 Spyder with the Weissach package, worth about 2.5-3 million dollars in itself.
However, it is worth mentioning that the auction items are not exclusively vehicles. Along with them, 553 memorabilia, accessories, and other items associated with the brand will also go on sale. Starting from original brochures, through posters, steering wheels, radios, or helmets.
Those interested in the auction can learn more about the offer on the RM Sotheby's website. The sale is planned for the first days of December. There will undoubtedly be plenty of interested parties.
