35‑year-old "Home and Away" actor dies following hospitalization from a migraine

Johnny Ruffo, the 35-year-old actor known for his roles in the soap opera "Home and Away" has tragically passed away. Ruffo was also recognized for his talents as a singer and TV presenter.

Originating from Balcatta, a suburb of Perth, Johnny Ruffo initiated his media career on the third season of "X Factor" in 2011. Shortly thereafter, he showcased his abilities on the 12th season of "Dancing with the Stars".

Thriving on the dance show, Ruffo celebrated his win with dance partner Luda Kroitor.

Ruffo underwent surgery in August 2017 for a brain tumor, diagnosed during his hospitalization for a migraine.

Ruffo confirmed the unfortunate return of his cancer in November 2020. Despite his condition, Ruffo expressed his hope to be alive for Christmas.

The loss of Evan Ellingson

The tragic passing of Johnny Ruffo isn't the only recent loss in the acting world. Evan Ellingson, also 35, has recently passed away. Ellingson was known for his roles in "CSI: Miami" and the movie "My Sister's Keeper".

Drug addiction caused Ellingson's career to stall for a decade. He tragically passed away in a rehabilitation center.
