Today's children and teenagers will work for 3.5 days a week and enjoy free time that lasts just as long - claims Jamie Dimon. The CEO of JPMorgan Chase believes this will be possible thanks to the development of artificial intelligence, which will revolutionize the job market. However, there will be casualties.

During the discussion about reducing the working week to four days, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase took the lead. In a conversation with Bloomberg, he stated that soon the standard will be a 3.5-day working week. This will be facilitated by the development of artificial intelligence.

AI will change the labor market

"Your children will live to be 100 and won't get cancer thanks to technology. And they will probably work literally three and a half days a week," Jamie Dimon assessed.

The president of the financial holding company called AI a "key technology for the future success of our company". He emphasized that JPMorgan Chase is already using it to: develop new products, increase customer engagement, improve productivity, and streamline risk management.

In a recent letter to shareholders, the company's boss devoted a lot of space to describing AI. He stated that JPMorgan is already using artificial intelligence today to improve work, which - as he said - is an "absolute necessity".

"AI is used by bad people to do bad things"

In a conversation with the agency, he admitted, however, that despite the positive aspects of AI, this technology carries a risk.

Technology has done incredible things for humanity, but we know that planes crash, pharmaceuticals are misused - there are negatives. In my opinion, the greatest is that artificial intelligence is being used by bad people to do bad things - assessed Jamie Dimon.

He concluded by stating that artificial intelligence could eliminate some jobs. However, as he added, this has always been the case with new technologies.
