This captivating narrative originates from Georgia. Ano Sartania, who is now 21, received a fascinating TikTok video from a friend some time ago. In it, she saw a young woman who resembled her in every way, except for her blue hair.

The incident piqued Ano's curiosity. Overwhelmed and intrigued, she posted the video in a Facebook group; hoping to find her doppelgänger. Through the assistance of a fellow member, she eventually made contact with the blue-haired girl, who turned out to be - Tako Khvitia, her twin sister. They first met when they were both 19.

Father sold them after birth, sisters reunite years later

The girls rapidly uncovered their true identities. They were born on June 20, 2002, in Kirtski, Georgia but their journey was fraught with hardship.

Due to complications post-delivery, their mother fell into a coma. Disturbingly, their father, Gocha Gakharia, under the misguided belief they were not his biological daughters, sold them, illegally, to two separate families. Ano was brought up in Tbilisi, the Georgian capital, whereas Tako grew up in the western part of the country.

The sisters have recently met their biological mother, who is currently living in Leipzig, Germany. They also made a video narrating their unusual journey.

The Georgian sisters declined to meet their father, who separated and sold them. Their paternal bond was confirmed with a DNA test - from the tabloid's website.
