Lighten up Fat Thursday with guilt-free baked donuts
Fat Thursday is slowly approaching, but you can indulge in donuts even now, especially when they're not as heavy and greasy as the traditionally fried ones. When my friend brought them to work, the plate quickly emptied.
A sweet donut is a delicious addition to coffee that can brighten even the gloomiest morning. You can choose from various flavors in bakeries, but the calorie chart can be quite off-putting. However, you can slim down the donuts by opting for a baked version instead of frying them in deep oil.
Baked donuts - Recipe for an afternoon treat
Although on Fat Thursday calories don't count, it's better not to indulge in donuts without restraint on other days of the year. You can also opt for a healthier and lighter version. When my friend brought a plate of these donuts to work, everyone rushed to eat them.
The combination of a crispy crust, fluffy center, and sweet taste makes them hard to resist. And thanks to the lower calorie content, you can enjoy their taste without guilt.
