Chicken wings are a favorite snack for both children and adults. When prepared with the right breading and crispy skin, they become the hit of any party or family gathering. However, there's a trick that will make homemade wings even tastier and crispier than those served at popular fast-food places. Below, you'll find a recipe for exceptionally crispy wings that will surprise your guests with their taste and perfect texture. Check out how to prepare them to win the hearts of all your guests!

The secret to perfect wings: marinade and breading

The key to success is the right marinade, which will make the meat juicy and full of flavor. Natural yogurt tenderizes the meat excellently, and adding your favorite herbs and spices gives the wings a unique taste. Cornflakes, in turn, create a crispy breading that delights with every bite.

How to prepare perfect wings?

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs of chicken wings
  • 14 oz of Greek yogurt
  • 12 oz of cornflakes
  • Granulated garlic
  • Sweet paprika
  • Ground chili
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Mix the yogurt with your favorite spices. Add garlic, sweet paprika, chili, and salt to taste.
  2. Put the wings in a bowl with the marinade and mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Crush the cornflakes into small pieces.
  4. Remove the wings from the marinade and coat them in the crushed flakes.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the wings in batches until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain the wings on a paper towel and serve with your favorite sauces, such as barbecue, garlic, or sweet and sour.

If you prefer healthier options, you can bake the wings in the oven instead of frying them. Simply line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the wings on it, and bake at 350°F for about 30-40 minutes, until the skin is crispy.
